Photos of walk to Galgate

Photos from my afternoon walk a few days ago...with beautiful sunset light...at 3:30 in the afternoon, because I am far up north...



Sunshine and blue sky outside Furness! I get excited and embark on my walk.



View from southern campus...it's really very expansive and pretty when the camera isn't foreshortening everything.

Street to Galgate...there are several very charming English cottages/houses along the way. There is also a bed and breakfast. So if you want to come visit, you should go stay there. British bed and breakfasts are very fun.

















I thought this was some kind of church building. I think it is actually a school because it had a sign that said "Old School." It is also possible that someone currently lives in this building. I didn't realize this until I'd walked into the yard. I was looking very touristy taking all of these pictures so you'd better appreciate the fact that you can look at them. :-)
